Andorra Is Today Best Known For
its incredibly fine and experiential skiing, with pistes located at over 2,500 metres altitude. Andorra is thus one of the most snow and sun-safe ski areas in Europe. With over 300 sunny days per year, it’s best to pack the sunscreen. Andorra is also a duty-free country that offers a large selection of restaurants, bars and top class shopping.
Andorra is a small country with big experiences, located between France and Spain in the Pyrenees mountain range.
We ski at Grandvalira, host of the 2023 World Cup finals. Grandvalira is comprised of six different resorts (Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo and En Camp) that are all connected on one ski pass. For this trip, we stay in Soldeu at the world famous Sport Hotel, located directly across the street from the main gondola. The Sport Hotel offers excellent cuisine and half board is included in the package. Grandvalira is on the IKON pass system, which is a great advantage for those with the pass already.
We fly into Barcelona on Friday March 7th, 2025 and take a prearranged three-hour shuttle to Andorra. We check in to the hotel and start skiing on Saturday March 7th until Thursday March 13th, then take the shuttle back to Barcelona in time for our flights on Friday March 14th.
The apres ski in Soldeu is like none other, with several fantastic pubs and restaurants ensuring a fantastic, fun and memorable trip!
