Hintertux – Austria
The Hintertux Glacier (also referred to as the “Tuxer Ferner”) in the Austrian state of Tyrol. There are two different skiable glaciers that are accessed by gondola, chairlifts and t-bars. The highest point of the glacier is 3,250 metres (10,660 feet), and is one of only two ski areas in the world that are open 365 days a year (the other being Zermatt, Switzerland).
We arrive in Munich on Saturday November 9th in the morning where the staff will drive shuttles to Hintertux, arriving in the afternoon. Skiing starts on Sunday the 10th and we ski for six days, travelling back to the airport in Munich on Saturday November 16th.
